Every Teacher Needs A Cheerleader

You’re one dedicated teacher.

After all, you’re here at LitCentric in your free time!

You go above and beyond for your students.

Now I am here to support you.

I’m Julie Webb, it’s a pleasure to meet you!

I’ll help you develop the mindset adopted by the best writing teachers.

I’ll show you where to focus your attention to save time and energy.

I’ll give you the know-how to build your confidence and make you successful.

I know you can be the expert writing teacher you’ve always wanted to be.

I’ve been an elementary educator for nearly 20 years (yikes, did I just say that out loud?!).

I know the ins and outs of the classroom, and I know how to help.

I go far beyond tips and tricks…

and dig into the how, when, and why behind expert writing instruction.

I’ve been supporting teachers, literacy coaches, and administrators for nearly 15 years.

And I created LitCentric.com so that I can support even more educators and their students.

I’ll be adding courses on this site to increase your instructional expertise.

Sign up for my free mini course by clicking on the link below.

In it I share my secret to getting students to edit their writing independently.

Join me, feisty teacher! And have a great day at school!

Professional Bio

I was a classroom teacher in the primary grades, with most of my time spent teaching first graders to read and write.

Later, I became a reading specialist working with struggling learners in pre-k through 6th grade.

I’m a National Board Certified Teacher of Literacy and have a Master’s Degree in Professional Learning. I’m currently working toward my Doctorate in Educational and Organizational Leadership.

I love working with literacy coaches and leadership teams to design professional learning initiatives to support teachers to improve writing instruction.
